where is there a school in Toledo, Ohio area or columbus area that understand and work well with aspergers syn?

I have a 12 year old son that has been in toledo public schools(horrible time) and currently in Maumee public schools( not following iep, causing me the mom heartache and causing my son to have anxiety, i think they also have a problem because he is black.) i will move anywhere. i am a single mother with no money.

Greetings from MN. My 11 year old son also has Asperger's and the school he goes to is awesome. For the IEP meeting, there was 9 staff members present...including the principal. If I'm reading your question correctly then you should totally check into MN schools. It's colder than a welldigger's butt, but the school system is awesome.

If they're not following the IEP then you have a legal right to sue the snot out of them. Your child has a disabillity. I wish you well...God knows it's not easy.
