It doesn't, a soul that is immortal does not need to be resurrected. That would also mean that what the Bible says at Acts 24:15 and John 5:28,29 is not accurate.
There is more then 130 verses in the Bible that shows that a soul eats, sleeps, cries, laughs, dies, and take revenge. There are also many scriptures that show animals are souls, all have to be living, otherwise they are dead souls.
I know this for a fact, when I married my wife she believed in the immortal soul, after showing her in her beloved King James Bible that we are a living soul and when we die we are a dead soul. All King James Bibles that are a reference Bible says that hell is the grave, a soul can die, & Gods name is Jehovah, you just have to look at the reference. My wife now uses the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, she has found like over 250,000 other people(that was how many was baptized the same year my wife was baptized) that the NWT is the most accurate.
With History you can trace the immortal soul teachings in pagan festival that were celebrated some 3000 yrs before Christ.
It does no good to show certain ones what the Bible Really Teaches, because they have had there minds blinded so they have eyes but they cannot see.(2 Corinthians 4:4)
Ezekiel 18:4 says a soul that is sinning, is a soul that dies, dead, done, and gone. Just what part of the Kings english do you not understand?
