Does walking off weight actually work?

if i walk 5 miles a day will i lose weight

    i live in nyc and have been walking 4 hours a day and have been losing weight but u have to diet too

    You will lose a bit of weight if you walk that many miles . You will also get a bit more tone. It also depends if you are overweight . You would have to include some dieting strategies if you want to lose weight. Walking is a fantastic way of keeping fit but I wouldnt depend on it to lose a lot of weight.
