Can you record videos from ACH camera in Army?

Question

Everyone knows about the cam installation on the tops of the ACH, but what EXACTLY are those intended for and can you keep the videos?

Those are not camera mounts. Those are NVG or Night Vision Goggle mounts. They are used for mounting NVG's to the helmet to allow soldiers to function in the dark.
