If its soy, I think its better and you cant even tell the difference. Plus is better not just for your health, but for the environment as well.
Did you know that it takes about 20,000 liters of water just to produce 1 pound of beef? So you would safe more water by not eating 1 pound of beef than by not showering in a year.
And did you know that it takes hundreds of acres to feed just one cow and they are cutting tropical forest down just to plant grass and grains to feed the animals. And that all the forest that they are cutting down take more than 500 years to regenerate
Im not telling you to become vegetarian, but you may want to think about what you put on your table. I personally love the real stake, the real deal, but I dont eat one every day. Maybe just three times a year or less.
If you have kids, think about it (and if you don't, think about it as well). We are killing the planet and the cattle is one of the main factors, we just dont see it that way because they dont show it on tv (thats why I freaking hate tv), they just show you what they want you to see
