What would be a good famous person from 1900-1919?

i have to do a project for school

so please help me!

it has to be that that person did something FAMOUS not when they were born or died... and it would be better if it was a girl...

    Well, there is Woodrow Wilson who was president through the 1st world war. Juliete Low founded the Girl Scouts. Henry Ford got his assembly line started. HG Wells was writing. George Eastman (Kodak company) brought photography to the average person. Irving Berlin and Al Jolson were performing.
