Because the Republicans have screwed things up so badly for the past 8 years, most people who aren't die-hard Republican partisans are sick and tired of the way things are. So they're willing to elect anyone who promises to do things differently, even if the candidate is not too clear as to what or how. Hence Obama. You can thank Chimpy and Dick for that.

Is there something on this list you wouldn't like to see?

Its an admirable list a bit heavy on benefits for vets and health, but hey its our country and thats a good idea.

Just the fact that someone could think of this after years of being told that kissing up to big business and the financial and insurance industries is a major plus as far as Obama was concerned.

Is it doable? No, we owe way too much money that Bush has already spent on the wars while lowering taxes of those kissed-up-to wealthy.

But its nice that you have clarified what we need to be done if we can get out of the mess hes left us after eight short years.

Liberals didn't buy into any promises, they just wanted relief from that CONSERVATIVE, Corporate greed on Wall Street that has engulfed Main St.

The most basic premise that most voters could agree on was that he was not another incompetent Republican like George W. Bush.
