怎麼說~兩種感覺意思差得遠呢~

若你說 I suppose 就有一種我認為,卻不一定的感覺

就是你一定會呀!為什麼你不會?

但 I assume的話!你已經認定對方會了!沒有任何猜疑或疑慮了!

所以assume了已經有點自大的妄想的感覺!在現實生活中裡assume太多事情大概會帶來兩極化的影響吧!

assume - to accept something to be true without question or proof (不求真相的推斷/假設/以為)

e.g., I assumed that you knew each other because you went to the same school

suppose - to think that something is likely to be true (猜想某事有可能是真的)

e.g., I couldn't get any reply when I called Amy, so I supposed that she's gone out
