    Is this XP or Vista?

in either it should be possible to actually remove the old compressed files from the disc clean up program. These compressed files should be listed in the various tick box options and you should be able to select the option and be able to remove the compressed files.

Its Rocky here ,If you want to delete the old compress files just follow my instruction

Go to the properties of that drive and there would probably be a bar for Disk Clean up ,just that and it will calculate it and after that there ll be an window coming up and you just press OK and it will delete all the compress files
