Stamps on gemstone ring... what do they mean?

I was looking over a piece of jewellery of mine, and got a bit confused as to what the stamps mean.

It's a ring I bought. Saphire and what I think are diamonds, with a yellow gold band. I was looking at the band today and saw it has "13" and "7.0" stamped on the inside.

Anyone know what they mean?

Sometimes, manufacturers put ring info inside of their piece. Example, the "13" could stand for a design number, while the 7.0 is the ring size it was made in.

You might see the numbers .750 meaning 18kt or .585 for 14kt.

    Hope that helps...

It's an ancient bomb signal. Your ring will self destruct and you will explode with it.
