Question about traffic ticket?

I live in Ohio, and I just got a speeding ticket, and I am 16. When I apply for college using one of the standard forms, would I have to report the traffic ticket as a misdemeanor or not? I was going 15 above the limit

Most traffic tickets are minor misdemeanors which, in Ohio, face a maximum possible penalty of a $150 fine plus court costs. These included speeding, ACDA, failure to control, traffic light violations, equipment violations, and other minor traffic violations.

So yes, you would indicate it was a misdemeanor; however, they will ask for further information, and you can indicate it was a ticket.
