Maybe, maybe not. They are owned by Procter & Gamble, and the company states that they have ceased animal testing on 80 percent of their products.

Actually, I have the package right here from what I just came in, and it has been tested on animals.

I don't think actually any of the Cover girl's products don't. They haven't done that switch over thing yet.

Cover Girl is part of Proctor and Gamble...as far as I'm concerned, this company still tests on animals. Just the one product won't tell you if it is, just if it isn't. You have to be careful about who you trust. Cover Girl has never been and will never be a brand that I trust.

If you're still concerned, check out www.caringconsumer.com

They've got legitimate lists on those that do and don't test on animals.

    Hope this helps!

P&G, maker of CoverGirl cosmetics, does not test beauty products on animals; nor do we ask suppliers to test them on our behalf. We do not test beauty ingredients on animals, except in rare cases when needed to meet regulatory or safety obligations.
