Lime water in flask B won't change colour. When air was pumped into the setting, KOH reacts with CO2 in air, so, no CO2 can get into flask B. Although the mouse carries out respiration, the air flow is still moving toward right because of the pump. Moreover, the hydrogencarbonate indicator will become yellow after some time since the mouse release CO2 during respiration.

The colour of lime water turns milky. It is because the mouse carries

out respiration all the time .It takes in oxygen and releases carbon

dioxide. So the colour of lime water turns milky.
