What song always makes you feel better?
Home alone, I need a little cheering up. Give me a song, please?
You guys rock! Keep them coming, please?!?
Thumbs down? What in the hell is wrong with you people? No thumbs down on a question like this! Geez!
You people really do make fantastic DJ's. You have no idea how much time I spent searching up these songs and following the links that some of you were kind enough to provide. It really did cheer me up and it means a lot to me that you all went out of your way to give me some good stuff. Thanks to each and every one of you, and I hope you all had a lovely holiday.

I feel better; how 'bout you reader?Source(s): None of these ever fail me. I 'feel' better instantly. There are more, but it's Christmas Eve, and I'm sick. So I'm going to bed now. Thanks for the well wishes.

Classical always makes me feel better...
Also, Hallelujah from the Shrek movie because I can't remember the artist.
Smile by Lily Allen (funny song, kinda mean though. Good if you've just gotten dumped. I was laughing my head off after this song because I was imagining this on my ex)
That's all I can think of at the momen'...
Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

These songs never fail to make me smile:
"Your Guts (I Hate 'Em)" - Reel Big Fish
"Admit It!!!" - Say Anything
"Keasbey Nights" - Streetlight Manifesto
"Don't Let the B*stards Grind You Down" - Toasters
All of them (except Say Anything) are ska. Ska makes everyone happy. Check out the Mighty Mighty Bosstones too

As Kelsey said, we're here. As Charles Dickens said in Stave 2 of A Christmas Carol: "as close to it as I am now to you, and I am standing in the spirit at your elbow." Exchange your computer for the ghost and you are as close to it as your friends are to you, and we are "standing in the spirit at your elbow."
On to songs: there are many I love and, yet, I don't listen to music often. (Another example of the strangeness to be found in human nature?) Some which appeal to me, may not to you - like Christian songs (Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art, etc.) and, at Christmas, Christmas Carols (Silent Night, O Holy Night, I Wonder as I Wander and many more - plus Handel's Messiah).
Some others that do it for me for one reason or another, though not by any means a comprehensive list, include:
We are the Champions by Queen - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sogKUx_q7ig
Johannes Brahms, Symphony No. 3 Poco Allegretto - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ju7jb1rkyK0
(Not necessarily cheering, but moving...which makes me feel better.)
Ludwig Van Beethoven-- Fur Elise - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o5baA0Z9g4
(Again, this one is like Brahms' - but with some good childhood memories mixed in.)
Pretty much all of Les Miserables, including the Finale 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bk-4Vdp9_x0
Shout by the Isley Brothers - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VL9xOLpwI0I
These, albeit a strange mix, are the first which came to mind. As I already said, there are many more, including more recent ones. If any "I can't believe I forgot that one" come to mind and the question is still in play, I'll add them.
Don't forget: you are less alone than it may appear. I wish you the cheer you need and a Merry Christmas, too. (And, I hope bruckcie feels better.)
***Note: I forgot Louis Armstrong's rendition of What a Wonderful World - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnRqYMTpXHc
***Edit: Not to worry (about the thumbs down), reader, that would be the "bah, humbug" contingent of Y!A.
Merry Christmas (and Happy Holidays) to my dear friends such as reader, Kelsey, arabesque, bruckcie & Dix and others (whether I know you or not, the wish remains the same). Here's wishing you peace and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.

Don't be sad! It's officially Christmas! Don't think of yourself as "alone," because, technically, I'm here. I count!
We probably have different tastes in music, but I'll suggest a few songs. (These are no good if you don't have Youtube links, are they? Dang. I'll do it anyway.)
"Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles
"Hey Jude" by The Beatles
"She Loves You" by the Beatles
"No Subject" by Cartel
"Love Addict" Family by Force Five
"I Love You to Death" by Family Force Five
"Time After Time" by Quietdrive
"You'll Always Be My Best Friend" Relient K
"The Lining is Silver" Relient K
"Jefferson Aeroplane" Relient K
"Alone" by Sanctus Real
"Benjamin" by Sanctus Real (This song is actually pretty depressing, but in a nice way.)
"Wish You Well" by Thousand Foot Krutch
"Breath You In" by Thousand Foot Krutch
"Paper Walls" Yellowcard
I must love you bunches, because I just went through a couple trillion songs in my iTunes library to find some I thought you'd like. :)
Edit: My mom made me go to bed last night, so I didn't get a chance to say Merry Christmas.

Rocky Raccoon - The Beatles

More Than A Feeling - Boston
Anything in Major that sounds happy.... listen to a DragonForce song
