This is true. But you have to realize that the Grammys are voted on annually by credited music industry professionals who belong to the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (aka the Recording Academy). Not US the people.

Al tho the snobby girl's answer before me about glitter is correct.. Mariah got back on her feet and shes better than ever. she has 18 #1 singles. Alicia doesn't have that many? She also has achieved many things Alicia keys ever will, so yes. Alicia does have more grammys, but Mariah wins in overall success :)
