How high does your LH have to be before you ovulate?

Question

I know it varies from person to person but is there a standard LH number where they can guess you will ovulate soon?

Mine was 30 today but the doctor still wants me to take an ovidrel shot (and I don't want to!!)

this website says LH is surging if it is over 20? but i'm not sure that sounds right. i've read that some womens surge can be as high as 90. here's the site.

25-40 mIu, 30 sounds good!!!
