White fluffy dogs? What breeds?
I want a white fluffy dog with a nice temperment. I prefer bigger dogs. Huskies and shepherds are pretty much out of the question tho because we have a cat. What breeds of dogs are white?

Any dog can get along with cats!! The temperament of each and every breed is by how you train the breed if the breed is properly trained by thier owners they can get along with anything.
Dog Breeds that are white and fluffy:::
Samoyeds have a friendly temperment which makes them poor guard dogs; an aggressive Samoyed is rare. With their tendency to bark however, they can be diligent watch dogs, barking whenever something approaches their territory. Samoyeds are excellent companions, especially for small children or even other dogs and other animals and they remain playful into old age.The breed is characterized by an alert and happy expression which has earned the nicknames "Sammy smile" and "smily dog." This breed is simply beautiful with a big fluffy white coat. I think this would be the breed you are looking for.
Here are some pictures:::
This breed is protective of its family and territorial, the Great Pyrenees is overall a gentle, affectionate breed. It is typically wary of strangers and will be watchful and alert. The Great Pyrenees is usually good with children and will protect other pets in the family. This breed tends to get along especially well with cats. It may not get along well with other dogs of the same sex. Loyal and intelligent, this breed should be trained by a confident owner from a young age. It is not easily trained due to its independent and stubborn nature. The Great Pyrenees is prone to barking, making it an exceptional watchdog. These are beautiful dogs. :)
American Eskimo Dog:::
American Eskimo Dogs along with other Spitzen were bred to be companion dogs, and thrive on being a part of a human family.
they are generally highly intelligent, trainable, and moderately independent. At home, they make excellent watchdogs, barking to announce the presence of strangers. The Eskie can be protective of its home and family, but in general they will not threaten to attack or bite a person unless provoked.
The well-bred Bichon Frisé is feisty, sometimes playful, and sometimes affectionate. Traditionally Bichon Frisés enjoyed socializing with people and most dogs. Bichons may be relatively stubborn, but are also said to be patient. They may have sudden bursts of energy resulting in the "blitz" or "buzz", where they race around in circles until they collapse happily onto their backs. Just fun white fluffy dogs to be around.
The Temperament of the breed:::
Poodles are intelligent, alert, and active. Historically, their aptitude has made them ideal for performing in circuses across the globe for centuries. Otherwise notable is this breed's keen sense for instinctual behavior. In particular, marking and hunting drives are more readily observable than in most other breeds. Even Toys will point birds. Classified as highly energetic, poodles can also get bored fairly easily and have been known to get creative about finding mischief.
Poodles are extremely people-oriented dogs and generally eager to please. They are excellent watchdogs, but unlike some working breeds, don't usually become "one-person" dogs when they are part of a family. Standard Poodles in particular tend to be good with children. Poodles are adaptable and easy to train. Like most dogs, they appreciate daily exercise, such as a walk or a play session. Most are fairly agile and athletic.
Potty training can be difficult in many dogs, but the poodle is one of the easiest to train. Whether going outside or being trained on a pad, they learn quickly where to relieve themselves. However, they are still animals, and they need time to understand what you want from them. It may take a while, but poodles are quite smart and learn more quickly than most dogs.
*Please remember to only buy any breed only from a Responsible breeder. To get the best temperament and the best looking dog and the most important the best health. A Responsible Breeder is A person who breeds for the betterment of the breed, who tests for genetic disorder and disease and strives to reduce it's occurence through careful selective breeding producing puppies of a higher quality than the breeding pair for the purpose of improving the breed.

There are breeds of dogs that are always or almost always all white, mostly white or off-white (such as biscuit colored) and then there are other breeds that are sometimes white but and sometimes other colors. Any library should have a book of dogs with photographs you can look at while you read about the breeds.
There is no guarantee that any of them will like your cat, even if raised with your cat...unless you adopt a dog that is known to get along well with cats. That would mean a trip to the shelter or contacting a rescue group, which is not a bad idea. Just ask your cat!
Please know that it isn't easy to keep white dogs white, especially if someone in the family smokes or the dog is a terrier who loves to dig. Dogs with drippy eyes get tear stains. Dogs with allergies get lick stains. The product, "Angels' Eyes" does help to prevent staining but it contains antibiotics which many veterinarians don't want to be used as a permanent, ongoing treatment. Also please know that white dogs seem to be more likely to have allergies, or maybe it just seems that way because the staining shows up so badly on them.

As soon as I saw this I immediately thought of the Samoyed. They're rather large white fluffy dogs with a good rating on temperament. Although you may spend time cleaning up after this polar bear you should receive much enjoyment with this bread :)

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aUC0q
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Go to petfinder and search for dogs, just look for a white one. you can even specify the age you would prefer (puppy, adult, senior) you can also specify a certain breed, but it's great way to help out a shelter dog or a resue dog in need of a good home.
On the petfinder site they tell you if the dog is cat keen, good with families, has health problems, is good with other animals etc.Source(s): Petfinder.com is how I found my dog, he is a wonderful animal and the best dog I could have asked for

You can get pictures by looking up the breeds on Google. If you have to have a BREED instead of just a dog, try a miniature poodle. Good luck!

If you get a shepherd or husky as a pup it can be okay with cats. My friend has a Great Pyrinese (type of herder) mix and he's big white and fluffy and they have 4 cats.
Saint Bernard (you may find a white one :)
some labs or retrievers can be white :)

big white and fluffy?
portugese water dog
Some that dont normally come in pure white, but can be mostly white..
Also German Shepheds can come in pure white, although this is a disqualified color, so you wont likely find one thru a reputable breeder
