What is the difference in child endangerment and injury to a child in Texas law?

Ok so I know someone who was arrested for injury to a child - reckless, a state jail felony. I found out that he was also charged with child endangerment and I can't seem to find it in the Penal Code. What exactly warrants a child endangerment case, is it a felony and what is the sentencing times? How does it differ from injury to a child?

As george said, it is placing a child in the position to be harmed, such as leaving a child alone in a car or at home.

Endangerment means placing the child in a position where they had the potential, or liklihood, to be injured, NOT were injured.
