Completely uninstall AVG?

Im trying to find a good anti virus, i had Kasperky installed but had too much hassle from it, i then installed AVG but it wouldnt connect to the server to update (any ideas?)

Trying to reinstall Kasperky for the time being but its still telling me that i have AVG installed.. its not in my add or remove programs list nor in my directory

Any help would be appreciated, thanks =]

You could download Avira!! It seems to be a good anti-virus. However, i use the AVG 8 Internet Security, and it works great to everything, works properly to upgrade,as well.. If you want i can send it to you...! With full serials!

its probably the registry settings left behind that the avg uninstall didnt remove michael m has a good idea reboot to remove anything of AVG that might still be resident in memory

Download TuneUp Utilities and run the registry checker. That will remove any loose ends left behind by the uninstallation of AVG You can get it at http://www.tune-up.com
