Yeast infection is very persistant. When occurs once it tends to repeat. There several factors that can induce the repeated infection: antibiotics, lowered immunity, washing your genitals with regular soaps etc.

When you visit your doctor next time ask him/her for a vaginal tablets. They are usually more effective. In meantime take more vitamins, and use special intiamate soaps for vashing your genital area.

Yeast Infection is an internal problem. Like most chronic conditions, there is never one cause for this fungal problem and thus yeast infection cannot be permanently eliminated using medications or creams that work superficially and fail to tackle the root factors that trigger the formation of yeast infection in the first place.

The pill only masked the problem, that's why medications don't work.

    Good luck!
