How would you go about doing a wiccaning ceremony?
My cousin, Trina, IS in fact having a wiccaning. She finally decided that her boyfriend's parents really have no right to decide what happens to her children. So she finally became victorious in that battle. Now comes the big part: planning for it. What things should she be sure that she takes care of (people attending, ritualistic tools, chants, etc) before going about doing this? She is also bit confused as to what to do about her twins' magickal names. (a boy and a girl) How would she go about choosing their names? Please help! She's getting impatient! xD

answer: tell her to calm down. Good for her for standing by her beliefs! There is a lovely Wiccaning ritual in a book "A Pagan Book of Rituals" http://www.amazon.com/Book-Pagan-Rituals-Herman-Sl...
Added: as for the Craft names - what do the parents want to draw to their children? Knowledge, open mindedness, courage, strength, etc.
Like any other craft name, sources can come from anywhere - nature (trees, plants, flowers, herbs, animals, elements, nature spots - forest, glen, brooke, etc). From favorite fantasy novels or shows (avoid Willow, Morgana, Merlin and other 'popular' magic names). Colors, gemstones are another source.
Also, steer clear of cheesy sounding names: Raven Goldtooth or Raven Goldwing or such, for example.
