Would a transparent ha-jib, like the transparent dresses of the 1960 be a solution...?

for young muslim women who wish to be more revealing yet still wear the required style?

The concept of wearing a hijab is to cover ourselves and be modest about it. A transparent hijab will totally not follow this concept. The Quran states that Muslim women should cover themselves, if a Muslim woman wears a transparent hijab not only is she not covering herself but she is also disobeying her Lord.

  • It's called hijab. And if it's transparent, it doesn't meet the requirements of hijab.

I think you are a little unclear of the concept of what a hijab is?

    Hi-jab is not a style...it is a Muslim's practice of modesty.
