does anybody know the equivalent metric screw size for a PSW6x16,so I can mount my Sony LCD to a VESA bracket?

Sony wanted $300.00 for wall mounting bracket,so I bought a universal wall bracket.Since my Sony is VESA compliant I couldn't see spending 3 hundred $ but the universal bracket didn't come with the screws needed to mount the TV to the bracket? Sony part# "+PSW6x16"

You can get them at any decent hardware store just ask for a 6mm by 16mm pan head screw. I'm kind of surprised there weren't screws already in those holes though. My Panny came with them.

6x16 IS the metric bolt size. Go to your hardware store, they'll have them.
