Just apply. Keep in mind though that for University your high school marks have to be of high quality where as College they can be a little bit lower. As far as the process goes, its better that you go in person to the Colleges and Universities and ask. You will get better information from them than from anyone on the net.

Community colleges do still have some requirements which different from college to college. You still need to apply if taking classes for credit, but generally speaking all applicants are admitted. Universities have stricter standards and may include entrance essays into the process of applying. It is best to have a school in mind, and then browse the website in order to get a feel for what they specifically ask.

As long as you give them money, you can get into a Community College. First your transcripts from high school then you simply take a placement test to see where you are in English and math, then you start picking your classes. Universities is a lot of paper work including an essay. Go to the site of the University you want to attend and see what they want you to turn in.

ya anyone can goto community college. no real admissions process, as long as you have some sort of high school degree. just register with the college, and sign up for classes.

university admissions process is much more complex/difficult/expensive.

you're local community college is usually free to get into, and has cheaper classes. however, they don't have as many degree programs, and sometimes their degrees are not as impressive to employers as a university degree.

    universities are more expensive.

but they have more classes. and usually have better professors.

universities also have larger student populations which creates a better opportunity for socializing.

most community college kids go to the local university to party.

if you're deciding between the two, go to university college. for real.

the admission process for a university:

*most colleges belong to commonapp, which is just one application online you can fill out and send it to all your schools. www.commonapp.org

*you go to your high school, and have them send transcripts.

*there's a checklist on commonapp everything you need.

*if they're not on commonapp, you either go to their website to fill out an application[ online ones are sometimes free] or you go to their website/call to find out where you get a paper copy.

    good luck!

It's different for different colleges, look on their website to see who they admit, and usually an email address is listed where you can ask. My college admits anyone with a GED or Diploma. and it's a university
