Laser cutting utilize the instantaneously heating characteristic and good light collecting ability of laser beam to seal the wiper edge while cutting, so the wiper edge is sealed very well.

Although the edge is sealed well, laser cutting suited to high density wipers only. If the fabric count is not high enough, the fabric will seriously snag because of agglomeration along the sealed edge formed by the high temperature when being sealed.

Ultrasonic Sealed border 超音波壓邊

Quality: Good

The fabric is embossed along the cutting line with stainless steel embossing roll first and then being cut on the embossed cutting line with ultrasonic cutter. Because that the cutting line is embossed, the density of the embossed portion become higher. Consequently, the lint of the cutting edge is significantly fewer.

Ultrasonic Heat Sealed Edge: 超音波封邊

Short lint left

Quality: Fair

The fabric is cut by the ultrasonic vibrating (20,000per second) cutter and being sealed with the heat produced by the high speed ultrasonic vibration, so the edge is not sealed very well.

We suggest applying this method to ordinary Polyester fabric only.

Heat Cutting 熱刀切割

Short lint left

Quality: Fair

The cutter is heated (about 170oC) with heater first and then the wiper edge is sealed seal by the heat while cut.

The edge is sealed good, but it will agglomerate.

We suggest applying this method to ordinary Polyester fabric only.

Cold Cutting 冷裁

Long lint left

Quality: Bad

Fiber breaks easily

Cold cutting is the simplest cutting method which merely cut the fabric into the appointed size with usual cutter without sealing, so the cutting edge is not smooth and fuzzes easily.

We suggest applying this method to low class wiper fabric is.
