When Bush promised to restore dignity to the Office of the Presidency, did he mean murder a million Iraqis?

Or was that what naturally happens once you get dignified.

So will it happen again when Obama brings even more dignity to the Job.

    Dignity begins with self respect and respect for others. Bush had none. I find it hard to think of him as dignified when he can't even express himself properly and brazenly lied to the American public just so he could serve us another with another useless war.

    Bush promoted something known as the dumbing down of America, which left America looking kind of silly to the rest of the world. We need to get our dignity as a nation back, asap.

    Bush made a lot of promises he couldn't keep. He is, after all, a politician. But, remember that Bush was just a puppet; Cheney is the puppetmaster. George W. Bush was 'selected' to be President by the Bilderberg Convention for three really lame reasons:

    1. To 'get even' with Saddam Hussein for humiliating George H.W. Bush during Operation Desert Storm;

    2. So that Dick Cheney and his oil-soaked cronies could virtually steal all of Iraq's oil;

    3. So the giant U.S. military-industrial complex [which Eisenhower warned us about] could boost its sagging profits after too many years of relative peace.

    Murdering 675,000 Iraqi citizens and [many, many] more than 4,400 U.S. soldiers was simply collateral damage as the Bush administration moved to make a handful of wealthy elitists, oil barons, industrialists and power brokers wealthier and more powerful.

    Even Donald Rumsfeld, in the early stages of this unconstitutional, immoral and illegal 'war', said, "Stuff happens".

    But the blame also must spread to include:

    ALL 535 MEMBERS of a Republican-led Congress that stood idly by and watched Bush run ripshod over our Constitution

    -AND-

    ALL 535 MEMBERS of a democratic-led Congress that promised to end this vile 'war', and - to date - has done absolutely nothing to keep that solemn pledge.

    MAY GOD DAMN THEM ALL!! -RKO-

    By "restoring dignity", Bush meant he wasn't going to get caught with his semen on his secretary and then lie about it under oath.

    Sure he may have lied WMD's, al-Qaeda being affiliated with Iraq, Iran's pursuance of nukes, torture, wiretapping, Katrina, Social Security, tax cuts, and more, but he's "dignified" about it enough to never be held accountable with a transcript, let alone a trial under oath!

    You = Fail

    Even counting Iranian "war dead" who came in to destabilize the place, nowhere close to that many people have died there.

    You're off by an order of magnitude. Counting only Iraqis, it's by a couple orders of magnitude.

    War is not murder. The definition cannot be changed because you don't like Bush.

    No, I think he meant he wouldn't be fornicating in the mouths of interns.

    As for "murdering," that's a pretty heavy charge. Stick to facts.
