Maple Syrup for hair...?

Ok so I've read that Honey can be used in your hair since it's a humectant but Maple Syrup is as well so I was wondering how would u use syrup in your hair and what benefits does it give your hair?

Update:

lol yeah I googled it and it said it was a humectant but where do you buy pure maple syrup from?

Maple syrup makes my hair really soft and shiney and i love it.

but it takes a lot of effort.

If you do this, make sure you have PURE maple syrup.

What you need is a shower cap, 1/2 cup syrup, towel wrap and 30 minutes.

    syrup washes right out!

    (of my hair anyways.)

    EW!!! No honey...

Try Avacados and eggs. Eggs are for shinyness and Avacados are like a hair mask. Who ever told you to use maple syrup is stupid and that just seems like a sticky mess.... Good Luck!!
