I like the Orlando Magic so I will give you my opinion on the team.
PF: With Dwight Howard anchoring the paint, you need a PF that has an outside game, and knows how to play defense at both posts (high and low). Rashard Lewis does have an outside game and that's valuable. However, Rashard doesn't have the size to play at the PF spot due to his size and his inferior defense. I'm still mesmerized by his 6-year lucrative contract, something which he doesn't deserve. I would prefer someone like Rasheed Wallace on the team and have him play the center while moving Dwight Howard at the PF spot. Dwight Howard is a big fellow but he has nimble feet and is athletic enough to play the position.
Other candidate that I can think of is LaMarcus Aldridge, who is young and capable of stretching the floor as well. Aldridge knows how to play in the high post and he can knock down those mid-range jumpers while leaving all the space in the low post for Dwight.
LOL. In my pipedream, Amare Stoudemire would be fantastic. =)
PG: Sure it'd be nice if you can get Chris Paul or Deron Williams who are excellent passers, but realistically you can't. I personally think Orlando is fine with Jameer Nelson, who provides clutch scoring and leadership. People criticize his size and his lack of passing ability but if you pay close attention to the games, he's quite an underrated playmaker. I've seen him throw a lot of alleyoops to Dwight Howard and he's does a pretty good job cutting through the defense and kicking the ball out to his teammates. If Stan Van Gundy gives him more playing time, and I think he will average at least 6 assists.
I also love the leadership he brings onto the court. Here's a young PG who understands what team chemistry is all about. He plans activities for the team in the off-season, invites his entire team to his house for a gathering, and as a result, he's respected by his teammates and coaching staff. Nelson is a leader to this ballclub and I think he's well-qualified to be the starting PG of the team.
But hey, the Magic are 13 - 5. They're a great team and you should definitely keep an eye on them when playoffs comes. =]
