The network is to be installed in a 7-floor office building to be occupied by five businesses.

A company two floors

B company one floor

C company one floor

D company two floors

E company one floor

Requirements:

1.one server

2.80 computers up per floor

3.4 or more printers per floor

4.necessary switches, routers, and servers located

5.a single Ethernet internet connection point with data rate 300 kb/s

the building will have ONE Class C INTERNER ADDRESS and s router connection point on a T1 line by phone company.

The building has 7 floors

Each floor has its own subnet.

Building management supplies one internet Ethernet connection to an equipment closet of each company

    Well, what a surprise, I just answered this from someone else who only gives 5 points in 知識+

    80 computers per floor x 7 = 560 nodes

    4 or more printers per floor x 7 = 28 ~ possibly 70 additional nodes

    manageable switches, routers, servers all require IP's (another 3 to 5)

    each floor needs at least a 255.255.255.128 private subnet

    Because a class C subnet would give only 254 IP, will not be enough for the whole building

    So the easy way . . . is out of the window

    This is what you need to do

    #1 - T1 Router, from Internet to your network

    You get the entire 255.255.255.0 to yourself

    Once internet comes in

    You will need a Switch to config VLAN, and split up the floors / networks for different businesses / floors

    I would first divide the Subnet Mask as follows

    300k x 8 = 2.4mbps

    2.4 x 48 (ports switch) = 115mbps (確定你的 Switch 規格超過 115mbps 平均傳輸速度)

    買 Cisco 2948 Switch 一定可以

    不然去找 Gigabit Switch (1000mbps) 的

    差不多就這樣囉

    總之

    就是每一家公司

    有 30 個 Public IP

    有 126 或 254 個 Private IP (看是一層樓還兩層樓)

    然後每家的網路在 T1 Router 那裡就分開

    或在 T1 Router 進來的第一個 Switch 就用 VLAN 分開
