can a baby hear the mothers heartbeat in the womb ?

    Yes! They can also hear your voice - which is why they respond so much better to Mommy right from the start!

    Absolutely. The baby can also hear the sounds of digestion, as well as other sounds outside the womb (depending how far along) like music, loud sounds, and voices.

    Oh yes! It can also hear the blood running through the mother's veins, stomach gurgles and digestion. Around 22 weeks the baby can hears outside voices and can distinguish familiar voices like mom and dad's.

    Sure they can, thats one reason babys like to be cuddled after they are born becuase they can hear the heartbeat that way too.

    Also, while they are in the womb, they can hear her talking, they can hear YOU talking. and any music or noise in the house.

    Yes the baby can. The baby can also hear you talk. And other people talk. You can also put music on your stomach and the baby can hear that. Daddy can also talk to him/her

    of course. thats why i got my heartbeat recorded to help her sleep better. also thats why the baby loves to fall asleep on your chest

    Yes, that's why there are some toys out there which apparently mimic that sound.
