Can't rid my computer from CiD pop ups?

I keep having a constant stream of CiD pop ups appearing. I removed "CiD Help" from my Add or Remove Programs list and yet they still come up. They're from Internet Explorer. I have run full system scans trying to get rid of the pop ups, added them to a Delete List but it still doesn't work. I use the Internet Security 14 scanner. This is what the pop ups look like : http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s87/2craftych2/...

How to remove Fake Software, Spyware, Trojans and Viruses:

Download, install, update and scan your computer with both SuperantiSpyware and Malwarebytes, delete what ever they find, if this fails to completely remove the virus/spyware download then update Avast and run a boot scan (click schedule boot-time scan and restart your PC), all the software below is free and safe to use.

    SuperantiSpyware: http://www.superantispyware.com/

    Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

    Avast Anti-Virus: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

To protect your PC in the future you need to use anti-virus software and a firewall, id recommend using Avast and Comodo Pro firewall both are very effective and completely free, you should also switch to Firefox 3 if you are browsing with IE as its much safer. (links on my profile)

You need to scan for adware. Follow the instructions for scanning in safe mode. The problem is that the virus is rolling back into a known state and reinstalling itself from your startup menu on reboot. You will most likely find some randomly named executable file in your C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\\. You'll need to disable rollbacks in order to get rid of this adware. Once you do that, reboot your system into safe mode and look in the startup menu for the executable program (.exe) that is installing the adware. Remove the startup and then remove the program it points to. After that, run your virus scanner. This should get rid of the problem. You can then enable rollbacks and reboot.

CiD is a sponsor for "Windows Live Messenger plus"

you can remove the sponsor via control panel...add and remove programs. Go to "Messenger plus! Live" and click remove and you will be given the option to remove the sponsor (CiD).
