Jackie's last year was 1956. Here's a list of African Americans that played in 1956. Not quite 50 but there were at least 27 (I might have missed a couple).

    Hank Aaron

    Gene Baker

    Ernie Banks

    Earl Battey

    Joe Black

    Bob Boyd

    Roy Campanella

    Wes Covington

    George Crowe

    Larry Doby

    Solly Drake

    Curt Flood

    Jim Gilliam

    Elston Howard

    Connie Johnson

    Brooks Lawrence

    Willie Mays

    Charlie Neal

    Don Newcombe

    Dave Pope

    Vic Power

    Curt Roberts

    Frank Robinson

    Harry Simpson

    Al Smith

    Hank Thompson

    Bill White

He left baseball in 1957, there were probably around 50 blacks in the league by then.
