I think you should hold off until December 22nd at 4:04 AM. This is when the tachyon condensation is most likely to be in its best condition for firing into an anomaly. However, if your tachyon beam is able to reach more than fifteen times /4.254 the speed of light (with the recent advances in tachyon technology it should) then any day in December will work at the above time.

It is a direct shot, so be sure you have a capable aiming device together with your beam produce (may I suggest the SE582 by the SS corp.)
PLEASE be careful of the uncommon, but possibly lethal, problem of spontaneous symmetry breaking, and more importantly ferromagnetism.
However, if ferromagnetism is the objective of this, then please do so with caution, otherwise the dilithium crystals should reverse polarity just fine.
What, may I ask, are you going to use the generated electro-plasm from the dilithium crystals for?
