Write formula for linear function that models situationn. Choose both an appropriate name and an appropriate variable for the function. State what the input variable represents and the domain of the function.

    Seconds to slow down = initial speed/deceleration rate

    = 30mph / (6mph every 4 seconds)

    = (30/6) x 4

    = 5 x 4

    = 20 seconds

    Speed ( time ) = 30/3600 - time*6/4

    input the time in seconds.

    output the speed in miles per second.

    s(t) = 30 - 6t / 4

    t represents time in seconds

    the domain is t >= 0

    it would be 30 = 6x + 4

    f(s)=30-6/4t (where t is time in seconds and t>=0)
