Why is Luke 16 the only passage in the entire Bible that seems to teach people "go to Hell" immediately?

But many others speak of their destruction.

Luke 16 contains the last of a series of parables by Jesus. It is an allegorical story meant to teach lesson. It is not a literal depiction of an actual event.

edit: If it is literal than that means heaven is located in Abraham's bosom.

edit: Jesus did not say hell (Gehenna) was eternal torment. He said it was eternal (complete) destruction. Jesus used Gehenna as an example of the destruction of the wicked. Gehenna was a constantly burning garbage dump outside of Jerusalem where the dead bodies of criminals were sometimes dumped to be burned up. The destruction of their bodies was complete. Note, no one was thrown into Gehenna while still living.
