pressures are weird with black powder. Smokeless powder burns at a slow controlled rate, which results in easily documented pressures. Blackpowder ignites instantly and can actually cause an over pressure situation which can destroy a firearm or injure you. Too little BP can be more explosive than too much because of "flash over" inside the cartridge. In a BP revolver using cartridges, you must use a "filler" like cornmeal to fill the rest of the cartridge. If you don't know exactly what you are doing, your gonna get hurt.

My advice is stay away from the black powder in modern firearms designed for smokeless powder. If you must play with black powder, either get a firearm designed for it, or go with a .45LC revolver and use the original Black powder loading data for it. Just be sure to clean it with hot soapy water afterwords or the corrosives in the BP will rust it out quickly.

In the .45, you will just get more smoke and less performance.

it will probably jam unless fitted with a 'light load' spring.

In the other two, (gas operated semi autos), you will also not get

enough pressure to cycle the actions. They won't auto load.

And the fouling from the black powder will clog the gas mechanisms.

All in all - a very bad idea.

Nothing bad will happen to the weapon itself. Bullet performance will suffer, and it will be much dirtier.
