can the U.s./venezuelan relations change with the new president Obama?

im with Obama but i dont know if U.s. relations can change in better with Hugo Chavéz

    Well we by no means need to support Chavez but I do think that Chavez will be easier to deal with if we have a President that actually recognizes that he is the leader of a sovereign nation and that ignoring people we don't like usually doesn't work. I do believe that Chavez will appreciate someone that's actually willing to talk and listen to his viewpoints.

    I kind of doubt it. I don't think Chavez is an honest socialist. He is more Stalin than Lenin. I foresee Obama continuing the US's hard stance against Chavez.

    Osama is a communist just like the leader of venezuelan.
