Is england to cold for an outdoor aviary?

well i was planning on building an aviary next year, and was wondering if it was to cold to keep parakeets outdoors? and can quails be kept outdoors? i live in South Yorkshire if that has an baring on anything.

    I bred budgies and redrump parakeets in an aviary on the Pennines.

    As long as you have a sheltered section with a frost guard and acclimatize the birds carefully - which meean putting them out between may and August so they are accustomed to outside before winter arrives - you should be fine.

    quails yes. parakeets no.
