newborn has days and nights missed up?

he doesnt cry much during the day,but come night he eats more,crys more, and takes longer to go to sleep,so im only getting about 3 hours of sleep. can i turn his habits around right now?

    Sorry but that is how the majority of newborns ARE.

    Don't expect to get more than 3 hours of sleep at a time until your baby is closer to 3 or 4 months. Some babies still wake up multiple times a night well into their first year.

    There really isn't much you can do, most babies figure it out on their own. You can try keeping the daytime noisy, full of light, and full of activity. When night comes turn the television/radio down, dim the lights, and speak to your baby in a quieter tone.

    The only thing you can do is give it time. I was there 3 months ago and I thought it would never get better. At about 6 weeks she started to stay awake more during the day and sleep more at night. She was waking up about 2-3 times a night. Now at 3 months, on a bad night she only wakes up once. Hang in there, it will happen soon.
