What is the first term of a series whose ratio is 2 and a7 = 64?

    1. it can be solved. just divide by 2^6. giving you 1 as the answer. you do that as a short cut for dividing by 2(the ratio) 6 times, because every time you divide by two reduces the term number by 1. you need to reduce it by 6, so you divide by 2^6.
