Whatever happened to those companies where you could buy 200 gallons of gas at once and get a gas card?
An then any time you bought gas, it would cost the same as it did when you bought it. I'm looking for those companies now!

Message me when you find it because i'm interested as well. Seems like hedging contract. Yet had no idea that did it on such a small scale (ie 100 gallons). Its similar to what Southwest did...

Those were owned by Venezuela. Diamond Shamrock and Mavericks used to sell those - at least in Texas, then Citgo went out. Chavez big mouth forced their hand (Shamrock/Maverick) to sell out and there went the cheap gas.
At least that was the excuse they gave US.
The bickering is between Chavez and Bush and their parties - yet we all pay the price - see the effect..
This commodity is one item we only buy foreign at US rates.
hehehe, enjoy your SUV, drive some more.. got gas..
