Please answer this science question.?
A person cannot see a single strand of cotton thread 100 feet away, but if you wound thousands of threads together into a rope, it would be visible. How would this relate to DNA extraction?

a single strand of DNA is incredibly minuscule and pretty much impossible to see, even with some sort of instrument. but because thousands of DNA strands are wounded together over and over again onto itself, like those thousands of threads, we can see it when looking through instruments
and in order to extract DNA, you have to detect/find it
