NJ missed 20 weeks by .1 of a % point. Instead they get 7 weeks.

Legislation signed on November 21, 2008, will provide up to seven (7) additional weeks of federally funded unemployment compensation (EUC) beginning November 23, 2008. The new law now provides a maximum duration of 20 weeks for these extended benefits. If New Jersey's unemployment rate averages 6.0 percent for three consecutive months, the duration will increase. If you have exhausted Extended Unemployment Compensation you will be notified by mail about applying for the additional weeks of EUC.
