First off, don't listen to these negative posts...

Geez, she simply asked DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO SINGS THIS SONG... If she wants it for her own wedding, let her...

I will tell you, I absolutely LOVE that song, and if you actually listen to the lyrics, it talks about how dreams come true, etc... I was going to walk down the aisle to this song... But, instead am walking down to an instrumental version. It's a goregous song...

    Artist: Israel Kamakawiwo Ole

  • I don't know the name of the person who sings it. If you have limewire. Put in the title & in the genre put hawaiian. that's how I found it. It's a great song. I think perfect for a wedding. Also the same singer has what a wonderful world that's hawaiian that is also a great wedding song. (jon & kate did their first dance to that)

It's sung by Israel Kamakawiwo Ole's and it's a sweet version. Don't listen to the negative posts, because it's actually a perfect rendition of that song for a wedding. I didn't walk down the aisle to it, but I did use it during our slide show at our reception.

Actually several people have used it as their wedding song. We provide wedding Entertainment, its from the 50 First Dates CD and is a great first dance song.

Eve Cassidy did a version of this too.

Are you getting married in Oz? I guess the red brick road led to the hawaian munchkin city.

Judy Garland sang it in 1939 when that movie came out.

Hey KJ funny that Pink FLoyd and Oz were mentioned in this. Start "Dark side of the moon" after the 3rd lion roar of the MGM logo thing. It's errie how much the two are in sync.

    I'm with Mrs D.

'Young Lust' by pink floyd would be a better choice.
