    Hi,

    1) Meeting a person face to face is safer, compared with computer ronace

    點解句子入面的compare係用ed而唔係用ing??

It is because " compared with...." is passive voice. 被動語態

Meeting a person face to face is safer<-----when it is compared with .........

You see the comma there in the sentence?

With that comma, you may take out "when it is" and put the green part and red part together.

It is still passive voice tho!

****Meeting a person face to face is safer, compared with computer ronace******What is " ronace"? Do you mean " romance"?

    Check the spelling, please!

    點解有時些句子係 to 原形但有些係要加ing/ed

Ans: For some words, they follow the " to verb ing" structure.

Since there are quite a lot, I just show you some examples here.

    Examples:

    1) I am looking forward to seeing you. to seeing

2)Learn The Key To being successful in your maths classes.

    to being

    3) I prefer driving to walking. to walking

Actually there is no explicit rule for you to follow.

All you need to do is to read more and more in order to learn how these kinds or structures are used.

    Good luck!

    Bye for now.
