Do u call it hambuger buns or are both slices together called a hamburger bun (as if they are one)?

    A hamburger bun.

    Singular.

    Because to get the two halves, you cut ONE in half! :P

    However, if there's a pack of 'em, then I call them hamburger buns.

    Both slices together are called a hamburger bun. One of them is still called a hamburger bun! It's one of those tricks to the English language!

    It is a bun, because the 2 pieces are part of a singular bun cut in half.

    It is just a bun, because it is one bun that was cut in half. If you have more than that, you could call them buns.

    it started out as one piece till cut in two. its still a bun..just the burger slapped in the middle.
