College Sport Boosters?

Do you know any colleges that give athletes gifts, or easy jobs with amazing pay? I know bars that give the athletes free shots, just wondering if this just about happens at every big university that is good in sports. Discuss.

Yes, it happens frequently, but they are getting smarter about hiding it. That was on of the big infractions against SMU when they got the Death Penalty in 1987.

"SMU football had already been placed on three years' probation in 1985 for recruiting violations. At the time, it had been on probation seven times (including five times since 1974), more than any other school in Division I-A.[2]

However, in 1986, SMU faced allegations that players were still being paid. An investigation found that 21 players received approximately $61,000 in cash payments, with the assistance of athletic department staff members, from a slush fund provided by a booster"

    That was from Wikipedia.

Oklahoma also got busted for having two players receive money from a car dealership for work not performed during the 2005 season.. OU had to forfeit all their wins for that season and were placed on probation until 2010.

These kind of violations happen all the time, but most don't get caught.
