why do they have call of duty 5 for ps2 but not call of duty 4?

    they're made by different companies. call of duty world at war is made by treyarch and cod4 is made by infinity ward. this is probably the main reason why.

    answer to below: you don't need a "license" to develop a game for a certain console... Infinity Ward probably didn't make CoD4:Modern Warfare for the PS2, Wii, and DS because those consoles couldn't support it. PS3 and Xbox360 obviously have better tech than those consoles.

    they are both made by different compainies....treyarch did cod 5 but i think they have a license for ps2 and wii.....on the other hand infinity ward did cod 4 which had way better graphics but i dont think they had a license for wii and ps2. but it came to the ds (cod4)

  • because it is so much more popular than the 4th and since poeple still have ps2s cus ps3s are expensev so this way they can sell it to those people also

    stop complaining at least they relased call of duty 5 on ps2 at all

    thought it would not make money and didnt have the time to reduce the graphics engine,
