Why does my counter strike cd don't have the files?

Question

Earlier before my computer blew up i could play my counter strike cd.Now after repairing my computer,i want to install the game again but when i insert the cd it does not have any files in it. But when i put in other computers the files are there and i can install it! What should I do??

try downloading steam instead. as long as you have the cd-key you can just download it through the steam program http://store.steampowered.com/ without having to pay again

something is wrong with your computer, im guessing its not reading the cd. You might want to get your computer fixed
