Why were they giving me dirty looks?

I was at a party recently , dancing having a good time with a lot of guys and girls would be giving me dirty looks and looking at me like I was weird...However, that is a contradiction because if i didn't know how to dance how would all these guys wnat to dance with me ? I felt very awkard...

They were probably jealous of you getting all of the male attention. I bet it was nothing to do with your dancing!

Pure, untactful jealousy, love! Especially if most of them were wallflowers. Don't worry about it too much. All that matters is that you had a good time and they obviously did not, for the mere fact that they spent all night worrying about what you were doing.
